Just found out from a random conversation
that my 8 year old cousin is being bullied at school and even in his own neighbourhood.
apparently a boy in school asked everyone else to not be his friend without any reason.
So cousin now has only 1 friend in school.
I couldn't believe it when i heard what he said.
He mentioned he felt sad that he doesn't have more friends to play with.
And when he returns home,
his neighbour would chase him and try to hit him.
though he knows this kid is not friendly,
my cousin refuses to let his mum know.
saying that his grandpa knew abt it and scolded my cousin for playing with that kid.
I'm just really upset about it.
especially when i don't how i can help him through all these.
it pains me to know this has happened to him and nobody is making an effort to stop it.
to makes things worse,
scolding him has made him hesitant on informing his family about the bullying in school.
Dear God,
please keep him safe.
and let him know that You will always be there for him no matter what.
I pray that things will change for the better soon for him...

Zach and I have finally bought our tickets!
we are officially going to the Land of Smiles next week!
I can't wait!!!
imagine all the fun things to do!
elephant rides, good food, great shopping and how can we not try out the famous thai massage?
I'm so excited!
practically researching on Thailand everyday! :)
It's been a long while since I last visited the country
and oh my, has Bangkok changed ALOT!
didn't know Pratunam Princess is no longer the hot tourist spot!
There's a totally new retail district!
which means more shopping for me!
besides, i helped Zach save S$150 while booking our stay in Bangkok.
So he promised me spa! :D
Finally!
No more Malaysia!
:D
Though I'm down with a bad throat since Monday.
Am working hard on fighting the virus.
went to see a doc and the good news is
the viral infection isn't serious yet.
So I'm praying to recover before i head to Thailand. :)
ooh.
My boss treated the finance team to authentic jap food on Monday!
was heavenly compared to all the chinese food i've been eating for the past weeks.
he actually ordered sashimi for us.
and boy, was the yellowtail delicious. :D
and today, he treated us to HK food.
I'm just grateful to be working in this company.
everyone's so nice!
esp. my boss. :)
though my manager is worried abt boss's overly-often treats.
and thinks it might be a sign that he's considering to leave the company.
i really hope he doesn't
though that would be kinda selfish cuz he's definitely capable of a much higher position.
too bad the main office is in the states...
well,
that's not for me to worry about.
I can't wait for Thailand!!!
