I just received an invitation for an interview with Bloomberg tomorrow afternoon.
BUT...
it requires me to make a 3-5 min presentation about myself.
THAT... i am seriously fearful of.
Despite having made many presentations in my life,
but never having to do one about myself and without the comfort of powerpoint,
i feel very much handicapped.
:(
besides, it was such a last minute invitation.
should i just ignore the email and forget about it?
i'm so not keen on making a fool of myself.
besides, it does clash with my lessons tomorrow.
but i don't wanna make another appointment with them.
:(
i guess this means i'm giving up.
the first company to give me a chance for an interview and i've decided to let it go the very minute i saw the email.
should i listen to my heart or head?
i'm so confused.
especially after several sleepless nights due to the overwhelming projects and assignments.
Another meeting back in school this saturday.
what a life.
wanna share something funny that happened in class this week.
Florence Quek went around class to garner support for her plan to make the lecturer drop our final project using too much workload as a reason.
and when she started complaining about how much effort she put into the case studies...
she made the funniest comment...
Flor: "i put so much effort into the case studies and i think the effort is
worth more than 5%! The project is 10 pages long and it is only worth 15%!
There's just too much work we need to do especially towards the end of the
term!"
Prof: "i think it is a reasonable amount of work for this module."
Flor: " but i put so much effort into this case! i had to come back to
school on friday, saturday and sunday! Even God rested on Sunday!"
*class roars with laughter*

I couldn't stop playing that scene in my head.
I'm just glad i have a friend like her to brighten my days in school.
sadly she's going to graduate after this semester.
who's gonna crack me up in class for that 1 more year?! :(
